Three city men arrested and charged following altercation

At 11:00 am 27 Mar a man forcibly entered a motel unit on McIntyre St E and assaulted the occupant.

The victim grabbed a butcher knife and chased the assailant out of the building, then further chased him around the parking lot brandishing the knife.

A third male grabbed a baseball bat and also chased the first man around the parking lot swinging the bat.

All three men were arrested and charged.

Dwayne Heintz 46 yrs of no fixed address was charged with forcible entry, and assault cause bodily harm. He was held in custody for a bail hearing.

Dustin Tourville 25yrs of McIntyre St E and Jordan VanMeirlo 27yrs of Ryan Ave have each been charged with possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace.

They are to appear in court on May 14th 2013.
