“The response from the inaugural campaign was very positive and we are very excited to see that translated into community impact dollars! Including designations, just shy of $100,000 is being invested back into social service programs that work towards building a stronger and healthier community,” stated Katina Matheson, community capacity coordinator. “A very big thank you to all our donors and volunteers who helped us accomplish so much, so quickly.”

“We are very excited to see that the Nipissing community recognizes the importance of supporting local programming. We would like to recognize the North Bay Citizens Advisory Panel volunteers, who spent many hours visiting agencies and making program funding recommendations.

Congratulations to the agencies receiving program funding! We look forward to an even stronger campaign in 2013 and more dollars to invest in the Nipissing District next year!” stated Michael Cullen, executive director of United Way Sudbury and Nipissing Districts. Change starts here.
