Rotary Club set to host Third Annual Children’s Charity Fair

On Saturday May 4, 2013, between 9:30 am and 3:00pm, elementary school children (grades 8 and under) will help to raise money for worthy causes at the Third Children’s Charity Fair to be held at Northgate Shopping Centre.

The event, sponsored by the Rotary Club of North Bay-Nipissing, began as a means to celebrate and raise awareness about the charitable work of youth in the region.

During the first two Fairs $2200.00 was raised and contributed to many different charities chosen by the students, including the Human Society, LIPI, National Service Dogs, VOICE, Patrick4Life, and The Gathering Place.
Hand-made crafts and other gifts – made by the children themselves are sold at the Fair.
