Alzheimer Society of North Bay presents Forget Me Not Fashion ShowThursday, March 14, 2013 by: Kate AdamsAlzheimer Society of North Bay
The Empire is set to host another Forget Me Not Fashion Show on Tuesday, March 19th, at 2:00 pm. This event not only allows you to see the latest spring fashions compliments of Alia-Tanjay, but also raises much-needed funds for the Alzheimer Society of North Bay.
As residents of The Empire strut their stuff down the runway, attendees enjoy tea, coffee and deserts. Local musician Don Brose will also be providing entertainment throughout the show. Tickets for this event are $10 each and can be purchased at The Empire, 425 Fraser Street, 705-474-9555. It is advised that anyone wishing to attend the fashion show purchase his or her tickets in advance, as the event has sold out each year.
“The Empire has been a huge supporter of the Alzheimer Society of North Bay & District. To date, The Forget Me Not Fashion Shows have raised over $11,000 to help support our programs and services. We would like to take this opportunity to thank The Empire for their ongoing support and dedication to help better our community.” says Linda Brown, Executive Director of the Alzheimer Society of North Bay and District.
Money raised from the Fashion Show will help the Alzheimer Society continue to offer programs and services free to the community. The Alzheimer Society is able to reach out and support members of the North Bay community who have been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease, and also their caregivers and family through support groups, education sessions and art therapy.
