Sudbury man charged with possession of a prohibited weapon

At 2:32pm on the 11th Mar the Joint Snow Vehicle Unit was in a marked cruiser and made traffic stop on Philip St.

The smell of Marijuana led to the arrest and search of the occupants.

A functioning taser, a flip knife and 3.5 grams of marijuana were seized.

Anthony Palmer 21yrs of Sudbury was charged with possession of a controlled substance and 2 counts of possession of a prohibited weapon.

Cst Steve Carleton and OPP Cst Marvin Miller investigated.
