Stompin’ Tom Connors, one of Canada’s most famous country and folk singer- songwriters will be remembered at a memorial ceremony he helped arrange just weeks before his passing. The ceremony will be held at the Peterborough Memorial Centre Wednesday, March 13 at 7:00pm.

The ceremony will be a mix of live music, video clips, family photos and memories of Stompin’ Tom delivered by close friends, musical peers and government officials.

“Stompin’ Tom Connors, A Celebration of his Life” will air locally on TVCOGECO Cable 12, Wednesday, March 13 at 11:00pm and again Thursday, March 14 at 10:00am.

David Feeley, TVCOGECO Senior Manager of Programming and Community Relations in Peterborough, states “TVCOGECO is truly honoured to produce the Celebration of Life of one of Canada’s true legends, Stompin’ Tom Connors”.
