Recent snow and rain have brought the area snow pack and water content levels to above normal conditions. Both snow depth and water content have increased, with the Corbeil Conservation Area seeing the deepest snow and most water content. The largest increases came to the North Bay Golf and Country Club, with an increase in 14 cm in snow and 7.3 cm of water content since February 13, 2013.
The NBMCA will continue with its bi-weekly monitoring of the snow pack throughout the winter and into spring of 2013. Data for the season can be found on the NBMCA website at www.nbmca.on.ca.
