OPP bust up a grow op in Perry Township

Perry Township - On February 27, 2013 the Ontario Provincial Police Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau North Bay Drug Enforcement Unit supported by the Ontario Provincial Police Almaguin Highlands Detachment executed a search warrant at a Perry Township residence.
As a result of the investigation an indoor cannabis marihuana growing operation and a cannabis resin extraction laboratory was located. 1079 cannabis marihuana plants, 19 pounds of cannabis marihuana and four pounds of cannabis resin were seized during the investigation as well as offence related property. Two individuals were charged and were held for a bail hearing in Parry Sound on March 1, 2013.
The street value of the drugs seized is $1,161,970.00. In excess of $50,000.00 offence related property was seized.

Biberhofer, Erich age 47, of Perry Township
Production of a Controlled Substance – 2 counts
Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking - 1 count
Possession of a Controlled Substance – 1 count
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime – 1 count
Thomlinson, Stephen age 31, of Perry Township
Production of a Controlled Substance – 2 counts
Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking - 1 count
Possession of a Controlled Substance – 1 count
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime – 1 count
