Six people charged with possession following a handgun investigation

At 5:55 pm on the 28th Feb a police investigation about a handgun resulted in a room in a boarding house on the 600 block of McIntyre St E being searched.

Six people were arrested and several items seized. These included, what is believed to be, 11 – 100 mg morphine pills, .5 grams of crack cocaine, 1.6 grams cocaine, 3 – 100 mg Oxyneo pills, 27 cellular phones, and a ladle containing a cocaine and water mixture for cooking into crack cocaine.

A search of one of the male subjects located an additional 6.5 grams of cocaine and $1000.00 cash.

No firearms were found however 2 butane lighters that replicated small handguns were located.


Nathan Carriere 19yrs of Worthington St E was charged with 2 counts of possession of cocaine, possession of oxycodone, possession of morphine, production of crack cocaine, possession of property obtained by crime, and 2 counts of breach of probation. He was held in custody for a bail hearing.

Dana Crogan 37yrs of McIntyre St E was charged with 2 counts of possession of cocaine, possession of oxycodone, possession of morphine, and production of crack cocaine. She was held in custody for a bail hearing.

Jason Lang 36yrs of no fixed address was charged with 3counts of possession of cocaine, possession of oxycodone, possession of morphine, and production of crack cocaine. He was held in custody for a bail hearing.

Lizzie Mattinas 42 yrs of McIntyre St E was charged with 2 counts of possession of cocaine, possession of oxycodone, possession of morphine, and production of crack cocaine. She was held in custody for a bail hearing.
Paul Southern 52yrs of Southshore Rd was charged with 2 counts of possession of cocaine, possession of oxycodone, and possession of morphine. He is to appear in court on the 9th Apr.

Ron Couchie 57yrs of McIntyre St E was charged with 2 counts of possession of cocaine, possession of oxycodone, possession of morphine, and production of crack cocaine. He is to appear in court on the 9th Apr.
