A great course for youth! For many, babysitting is their first job.
The Babysitters course is fun and hands-on and can help teens become real "pros" or even comfortable staying home alone!
Basic skills such as diaper changing, feeding a baby and simple meals for kids
How to cope with common problems, like tantrums and crying & Safety tips for children of all ages
What to do if anything makes the babysitter uncomfortable
Some great games and other ideas for having fun with the kids while babysitting
How to make the children's environment safe and enjoyable
The respective rights and responsibilities of the babysitter and the hiring family
How to handle emergencies with an introduction to CPR for infants and children~and learning skills focusing on choking, airway management and rescue breathing
...and tons more including getting hired and finding lots of great jobs safely!
With course content supplied by the Ontario Provincial Police & Ontario Fire Marshal’s Office Course geared to youth aged 10-14 years old, or grades 5-8
Youth receive Course Completion Wallet Card and Babysitter’s Manual ~ Choose one date only! ~ You must pre-register!
