The Music City Ukulele club is bringing Renowned Blues Ukulele musician Manitoba Hal Brolund to North Bay for both a workshop and concert on Monday Feb 25th.
Manitoba Hal brings his unique flair for the popular pint-sized intrument to North Bay for one night only at the Raven & Republic. The workshop begins at 7 PM, the concert begins at 9 PM.
Manitoba Hal is an accomplished songwriter who has adapted the traditional styling of Chicago and Delta Blues to the diminutive but powerful ukulele. Hal stretches the boundaries of what's possible with the Hawaiian four-string instrument with authentic blues riffs and melodies along with modern looping technology.
