What: The Colon Cancer Check photo booth is coming to North Bay and Parry Sound so that residents can ‘Make the Pledge’ to Screen for Life.


At the photo booth, you can learn more about colorectal cancer screening, have your photo taken and make a pledge. Your photo pledge will join thousands of Ontarians online at Facebook.com/CancerCareOntario as Cancer Care Ontario and the Northeast Cancer Centre strive to get more residents to screen for colorectal cancer in Ontario, which has one of the highest rates of colorectal cancer in the world

Regular screening for colorectal cancer saves lives. When caught early, there is a 90 percent chance that people with colorectal cancer will be cured.
