Another Liberal leadership hopeful stops in the Bay

Tuesday, February 19, 2013   by: Kate AdamsMartha Hall Findlay, candidate for leadership of the Liberal Party of Canada, made a campaign swing through the city this holiday Monday to touch base with local Liberals.

A small but powerful group that included famed cartoonist Lynn Johnston were at Demarco’s to hear what Findlay’s plans are for the party and the country.

Findlay last ran for the leadership in 2006 and the message isn’t far off from that campaign.

She talked about the challenges the party faces while trying to re-define what Liberal means in Canada while fighting for equality, justice, economic responsibility, fiscal prudence and prosperity.
