This is amazing that so much is just going to be swept under the carpet and forgotten about.
Please come out to the AGM and help select a new board.

Great news for the Food Bank and its clients! I am glad to see this come to a close. Keep up the great work!

Something doesn't smell right here.

To many influential people may have been exposed, so they come to an agreement. wink wink.

This sounds alot like the massage parlor incident a few years ago..

This is Bull&%$*
This group has in excess of $ 300,00.00
in various bank accounts and continue to
cry poor and beg for more from an un-
suspecting public. Those at the A.G.M.
must demand a full audit and make it public. The people of North Bay deserve
no less. I for one will not give a can of Beans to this group until we get a full
accounting and the Citizens of North
Bay and area should follow suit.

I'll be there for sure.

How great that they spend money on lawyers rather than spending it on food. Same as the Salvation Army last Christmas. Poor oversight indeed. From now on my donations will go straight to someone who can use it without any middleman. Very sad.

I remember reading a press release last year stating that the new people at the food bank weren't paying; that their lawyers were donating their time. So, no worries there. There were really positive things being said about the current operations at a recent Citizens Advisory Panel meeting. Glad to hear it.

The operations of the Food Bank have been superb from what I have seen. The Coach 4 Food program is back and flourishing with this current Board which is more than what was happening a year ago. Fundraisers have been held that were superb and all the time involved has been donated. There has not been one dollar spent on lawyers as some have alleged. Stop the ignorant sniping and volunteer yourself and accomplish something positive!!

Are you or anyone else not at all interested in what the forensic auditor found in just two days before he was put on hold by the new "board". That auidt is paid in full with no refund so wny would they not allow it to finish and answer the questions good or bad. What would they be afraid of. Myself I would want it finished to clear the air. There to this day sits the money to pay for it.
mac3 2/15/2013 2:18:01 PM Report

The more I think of it it really bothers me that no one seems to care what one of the top forensic auditors found in just 2 days of looking. I just know if I was on the board and knew it was already paid for I would want it finished to clear my name. I just don't get why no one can seem to see this. What was found and was at the court house to read (no idea if it is still there) was amazing and shocking but lets just sweep it all under the carpet as no one seems to care. Too bad. Well lets hope we get a new board now and move forward.
