CFB PETAWAWA - The public should be advised that a convoy will be travelling between Petawawa, North Bay and Cochrane from February 11 to 14, 2013, and back to Petawawa on February 26 and 27, 2013 as part of Exercise TRILLIUM RESPONSE 2013.

The convoy will travel along Highway 17 (North) to North Bay, and then take Highway 11 (North) to Cochrane.

Traffic is advised to be extremely patient and cautious as the convoy will consist of 150 vehicles comprising of LAVs, HLVWs, chartered buses, and transport trucks.

The purpose of Exercise TRILLIUM RESPONSE 2013 is to increase the Canadian Forces’ operational readiness by providing a realistic and challenging scenario for the personnel of Joint Task Force Central and 2 Canadian Mechanized Brigade Group in order to enhance their knowledge and skills in a remote area during winter.
