School buses are cancelled for today

There are school bus cancellations today:
Britt and Nobel
Mactier, Humphrey, Rosseau
McDougall/Whitestone
East Parry Sound
Town of Parry Sound
Redbridge/Thorne
Trout Lake / Four Mile Lake Rd
Callander, Bonfield, East Ferris
West Nipissing
North Bay
HWY 11 North
Mattawa
At this time, all schools remain open for students who can get there safely.
Parents are reminded that cancelled bus routes will not run in the afternoon; any students brought to school by other means must be picked up at the end of the school day.

What a COMPLETE joke this is....they cancel the buses, not just because of bad weather, but the threat of bad weather??
Yeah, lets cancel the buses and put more cars on the road in bad weather because parents are trying to get their kids to school.
My heart goes out to the kids, who, may enjoy the time off now, are missing out on a great education because of narrow minded people.
thechad 2/11/2013 12:18:58 PM ReportIt really messes up the schedule, our daycare bill is through the roof. I anticipated the busses being cancelled last night because of the freezing rain warning..... There are way to many unnecessary cancelations !
