City police and OPP team work pays off

On Friday Feb 08 2013 at 10 pm North Bay City Police observed two motor snow machines travelling on the wrong side of the roadway on Decaire Rd.

The officer attempted to follow the machines at a safe distance as they sped away from the marked police cruiser.

The officer called for assistance from other police units in the area.

In a short period of time four city Police units and three OPP units converged in the area.

City Police located one snow machine operator, while North Bay OPP officers located the other snow machine operator, both were subsequently arrested for Dangerous driving & suspended drive, Fail to stop for Police.

Both snow machines were towed from the scene.
