7:00-8:00 P.M.

LOCATION: 100 Ferguson St.

You are invited to share in a Free Evening of Education with the Heritage Gardeners.

On Wednesday, February 13, 2012 the topic is “Choosing plants to extend the season” with Lucy Emmott.

Join local edible gardening aficionado Lucy Emmott for an open presentation and discussion about extending the time that you can eat fresh from the garden. This talk will cover methods that gardeners can use to extend the growing season and will focus on planning the longer season garden as well as choosing the right seeds and plant varieties.

This session is free but donations are always welcome. Participants may also wish to participate in the twoonie raffle in support of Heritage Gardeners.
