South River Public School closed early due to heating issues Update

The heating system at South River Public School has been repaired and heat to the school has been restored. The school will reopen for tomorrow, Wednesday, February 6.
Staff members look forward to welcoming back students to the school Wednesday morning.

The Near North District School Board wishes to advise parents and caregivers that due to a malfunction in the heating system, South River Public School is being closed for the remainder of the day, Tuesday, February 5.
Parents are asked to pick up their children at the school.
An update on the re-opening of the school will be conveyed through the media.
Parents of students who attend South River will be contacted directly by phone.
