In order to meet the needs of a qualified workforce, Canadore College’s Board of Governors passed a motion to deliver a new Applied Management Certificate program at its January meeting.

Applied Management Ontario College Certificate

This online certificate has been designed to provide graduates with the knowledge and concepts relating to human resources management. This one year program focuses on administration, relationship building, organizational behaviour, training and development, strategic planning and entrepreneurship.

“Both the public service and private sector have identified the need to have more qualified and well-rounded workers,” said George Burton, President of Canadore College. “Through in-depth knowledge of relationships, understanding key motivators and applying strategic thinking, this program’s graduates can help businesses improve their bottom line and achieve greater success.”

Canadore is dedicated to being proactive and responsive to changing market demands, student and employer needs and to creating relevant programming that will provide graduates with highly employable skills.

The College has received an overwhelming response to the brand new Occupational Therapist Assistant/Physiotherapist Assistant program being rolled out in September 2013.
