School buses are cancelled in the area today
Thursday, January 24, 2013 by: Kate Adams
At this time, all schools remain open for students who can get there safely. Parents are reminded that cancelled bus routes will not run in the afternoon; any students brought to school by other means must be picked up at the end of the school day.During inclement weather, parents/guardians are responsible to decide whether to send their child to the bus stop or to school.
During extreme cold weather or severe weather storm conditions, we recommend that parents remind their children of possible vehicle (bus) breakdown or delays.
Parents are advised to exercise their own discretion as to how long a pupil should wait for a school bus in inclement weather.
Parents should have a back-up plan in place to allow for unforeseen circumstances.
There are corridor cancellations today due to the cold weather.
