Duke St. man charged for possession of a weapon dangerous

On Jan 18th at 12:40pm a man in the hallway of his apartment building on Duke St used a hand gun to threaten other tenants.

He was waving the gun around and threatened to kill them.

On arrival of police he answered his door holding the firearm and was subsequently subdued using an electronic energy device.

The handgun was found to be a pellet gun. It was an exact replica of a Baby Desert Eagle handgun.

Leonard Dubeau 59yrs was charged with possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace, use a firearm in the commission of an offence, and uttering death threats.

He was held in custody for a bail hearing.
