Wednesday, January 09, 2013   by: Kate AdamsThe director and producers of the feature film 'SKATING TO NEW YORK' are looking for strong skaters to double and/or stand in for actors during filming.

Candidates chosen as photo doubles/standins would need to commit 13 days starting January 29 to working all day on the film with the possibility of 20 days more.

The production also requires skaters who can do jumps and tricks on skates for specific scenes that would require one or two specific days.

Barrel jumpers, figure skaters, hot-doggers, men or women 18 or older or students who have completed high school come and show the team what you can do.

Auditions will be held this weekend at The Hudson Arena located at 278011 Milberta Road, Hudson Township, ON 7:30pm-8:30pm.
