Ontario Power Generation (OPG) has made a generous contribution to Near North Crime Stoppers. Crime Stoppers involves the cooperative efforts of the community, the media and the police in the fight against crime.

OPG has had a long-time partnership with Near North Crime Stoppers to help promote community safety. The OPG/Crime Stoppers decal appears on all OPG fleet vehicles.

“This partnership is exactly the kind of corporate involvement on which Near North Crime Stoppers relies,” said Tracy Balen, Executive Director of Near North Crime Stoppers.

“We very much appreciate Ontario Power Generation’s $1,000 contribution to our organization. We encourage others to “get on board” and follow Ontario Power Generation’s example in the fight against crime.”

OPG is an Ontario-based electricity generation company whose principal business is the generation and sale of electricity in Ontario. OPG’s focus is on the efficient production and sale of electricity from its competitive generation assets, while operating in a safe, open and environmentally reasonable manner.
