Again this year, Nipissing MPP Vic Fedeli is asking constituents to consider nominating worthy individuals in the riding for the 2013 provincial Volunteer Service Awards.

Since its inception in 1986, over 180,000 dedicated volunteers have been recognized through this program across Ontario. In 2013, more than 50 ceremonies will be held in nearly three dozen communities across the province,
recognizing thousands of volunteers. The North Bay ceremony will be held May 24.

The deadline for nominations is January 25 of each year. Any nominations received after the deadline will be considered for the following year.
