On Thursday November 29, Patrick4Life welcomes Juno-nominated artist, singer/songwriter Glenn Marais and the St. Joseph-Scollard Hall Catholic Secondary School for a special celebration at the Davedi Club.

Pizza4Patrick, hosted by Patrick4Life’s youth4youth committee, is the organization’s second annual community gathering to celebrate the advances in the struggle against HIV/AIDS, a pandemic which affects every community around the world. The evening will include an original theatrical production incorporating drama, dance and music entitled "I HAVE A NAME, I HAVE A FACE, I HAVE A STORY, I AM A HUMAN”.

Marais teaches character education through music, motivational speaking, curriculum kits, workshops, activities and social assemblies to thousands of students inspiring them to get involved locally and globally with his universal motto, “Give to Live.” The singer’s recent composition, “On the Shoulders of Giant” was selected by the Nelson Mandela Children’s Foundation to commemorate Nelson’s Mandela’s 90th birthday and his Juno-nominated song “Everybody Wants to be like You” by the artist Snow.

Tickets for Thursday’s event can be purchased at local secondary schools for a minimum donation of $5 per person, or at the Davedi Club Thursday, November 29th. Doors open at 5:15 pm and the event runs from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Homemade pizza, lasagna, salads and Patrick’s favorite chocolate chip cookies will be served.
