It was a great day for a parade

Monday, November 19, 2012   by: Kate AdamsKeeping with the Festival of Trees theme for the 2012 Santa Claus Parade the Chippewa Raiders chose Dr. Seuss's the Lorax.

Thousands of North Bay residents lined the 2012 parade route to catch a glimpse of Santa Claus.

Despite having to wait an extra 10 minutes for the parade to start, there was an air of excitement, which helped to keep the crowd warm.

The crowd giggled and cheered in delight as they showed their approval and support for businesses, organizations and schools that invested their time and effort to helping make this year’s event a success.

But of course the true show stopper of the whole parade was Santa Claus.
