The Rotaract Club of North Bay–Nipissing will be running a “Lightly Loved Literature Sale” to help support our Literacy Council. The sale will be held Saturday, November 24th from 9-5pm and Sunday, November 25th from 10-4pm at the North Bay Mall near the No Frills Entrance.

Over the last few weeks and months Rotaract has been collecting books generously donated by community members. A huge selection including soft and hardcovered books of all kinds are now available for sale at incredibly affordable prices ($1 softcovers / $2 hardcovers /$10 a bag).

The Literature Sale will encourage children and adults to enjoy a book while contributing to a good cause, as ALL funds collected go directly to the Literacy Council.

The North Bay Literacy Council provides programs to help adults who require assistance with reading, writing, math, spelling and computer skills.

They also offer programs in Family Literacy and Literacy & Health and GED preparation. Their programs rely primarily on volunteers.

If you would like to donate books for the sale they can be dropped off at the Literacy Council during office hours.
