OPP request public's help locating missing Toronto man

HALIBURTON – Members of the Haliburton Highlands Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing Toronto man.

Robert Anthony “Tony” GORASSI, 63 years of Toronto, was last seen in the area of Queens Line and Highway 118 in Minden Hills, on Thursday October 25th, 2012 at approximately 4:00pm. Mr GORASSI is described as approximately 5’ 8” in height, 155lbs with a medium build. He has short black hair with a grey bushy beard. Mr GORASSI is wearing black track pants, a dark blue t-shirt and dirty white running shoes.

Haliburton Highlands OPP are continuing to search the area of Queens Line and Highway 118, assisted by the Central Region Emergency Response Team and Canine Unit.

The OPP are concerned for the wellbeing of Mr GORASSI and are asking area residents to check in outbuildings and shelters on their property, and any adjacent seasonal property, where Mr GORASSI may have taken shelter. If Mr GORASSI is located, please call “911” immediately and advise him that help is on the way.
