OPP investigating construction zone incident

The North Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are currently on the scene of a construction zone incident relating to injuries to a male person from heavy equipment on Highway # 11, north at the Tomiko River bridge.

The Ministry of Labour (MOL) has been notified and are conducting the investigation. The incident occurred off the highway and the north and south bound lanes are not affected. The male person was transported to the North Bay Regional Health Centre by ambulance and has since been transported to a Sudbury Hospital.
