Convicted impaired driver arrested for driving away from court

SUNDRIDGE -On October 1st, 2012 Thomas REMMELGAS (49) of Emsdale, Ontario was convicted of Impaired Driving and Refusal to provide breath samples in Sundridge Court.
REMMELGAS was subsequently sentenced to monitary fines and a one year Canada wide Driving Prohibition.
At approximatly 6:50pm, while driving away from the Sundridge Courthouse after being convicted, the accused was observed driving by police.
The officer stopped the vehicle and arrested REMMELGAS for Drving a Motor Vehicle While Prohibited contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
REMMELGAS was held in police custody for a bail hearing in Parry Sound Ontario.
