Coyote in the Seymour and Wallace Roads area?

Our reader wants to alert residents to be aware of the potential danger and protect themselves and their pets.

Thanks for posting, Kate.
I spoke to someone at local MNR and he basically said they are part of the eco system and frequent the area. That was a relief, but I personally am still afraid to walk my dog where there is such wildlife, and thought others in the area might be interested in knowing, and decide for themselves. I am sure my dog would have loved to try and make friends with it!!!

I live in Callander and have heard a pack of coyotes howling very late at night recently. My dog was spooked by their howls as well. Its sure sounds like there's quite a few of them out there together.
