Copper wire stolen from downtown hydro substation

News Release

Over the weekend a fence was cut to a hydro substation on McIntyre St W.
All the grounding copper wire was removed along with all the exposed copper from the transformers.
The value of the copper is approximately $200.
The cost to repair and replace is approximately $2000.
Cst Barry McIntosh is investigating.
