Blue Jean Ball a tremendous success

Monday, September 24, 2012   by: Kate Adams********************

The inaugural Blue Jean Ball fundraiser in support of the North Bay Food Bank was a tremendous success!

The sold out event, which took place Friday, September 21st, 2012 at the Davedi Club, raised $15,000 for the North Bay Food Bank.

“This could not have been possible without the support of our community members who attended the event, as well as local businesses that gave their time and services, and provided great raffle prizes,” said event Chair Katharine Strang.

All proceeds from the event will go to support the North Bay Food Bank on Hammond Street. The Food Bank supports hundreds of families and is open to serve our community Mondays and Fridays 9:00am to 2:00 pm and Wednesday evenings from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. Food and monetary donations to the Food Bank are always welcome and can be made at 1319 Hammond Street or by calling 705-495-3290.

Will it go to the hundreds of
families in need or will it be put
into the already bulging bank accounts
of this organization ????????????
When will we be given the facts ??
The giving, caring people of North Bay
deserve to know.

Hopefully it goes where it's supposed to. On food for the needy.
