Scuffle on Seymour St ends with resist arrest charges

At 1:17am on 18th Sept a man located in the parking lot on the 1400 block of Seymour St became aggressive with police and attempted to strike an officer.

He became more aggressive and it took officers several minutes to secure him in the police car.

Roger Storms 34 yrs of no fixed address has been charged with assault with intent to resist arrest, unauthorized possession of a weapon, and breach of probation.

He has been held in custody for a bail hearing.

Cst Scott Buchanan is investigating.
