News Release

On the 11th of September, it was reported to police that someone had received a letter in the mail indicating that they had won a large amount of money and that in order to receive the money, they would need to call a number and provide their credit card information.

The North Bay Police Service wishes to remind the public to be cautious in responding to any requests to provide personal information along with credit card and bank account information over the phone or on-line as these requests are often of a fraudulent nature.
