At 11:42am 4th September, missing person Lorraine Hickey was found by members of the North Bay Police Emergency Response Team in a bush area just north of Hwy 17 W and west of Gormanville Rd.

She was found lying down in a grassy area. She was wet, cold, but uninjured.

Her husband Phillip Hickey and the North Bay Police wish to thank Mr Kevin Elsey because he heard the media request this morning and remembered seeing a person last evening that fit the description. We also wish to thank the media for their prompt coverage and all the citizens that called because of it.

The North Bay Police also wish to express our appreciation to the O.P.P. Canine and Marine Units, the Ministry of Natural Resources Canine Unit and BAYSAR all of who played a vital part in this investigation.
