Domestic violence stats for the week ending August 28th

Over the week of the 21st to the 28th Aug the North Bay Police responded to 26 domestic related occurrences that resulted in 3 males and 1 female being charged with a total of 7 offences.

Charges against the men were 2 counts of assault, 2 counts of assault with a weapon, and 2 counts of mischief.

Two men were held in custody for bail hearings and one was released on an undertaking with a court date.

The woman was charged with mischief and released on an undertaking with a court date.
