Movie Production Stage Fright is holding an open audition in the Bay

There will be a an open CASTING CALL (auditions) for the movie production STAGE FRIGHT in North Bay on Wednesday August 29, 2012 at 2PM.

The location in North Bay is still being finalized.

THE ROLES:

LITTLE CARL Male 7-12 years old, energetic and hilarious comedic actor/character.

A cutesy, young carpenter who loves power tools and seems to be single-handedly building the entire set for the camp musical.

A devoted member of the stage crew, he's later thrilled when promoted to house manager, and proves to have a level head in a crisis.

Should be cabable of physical comedy, ³big expressions². All shapes, sizes and ethnicities welcome. 4 lines, 5 scenes (10)


BUDDY AT AGE 7 Buddy at age 7 is shy and reserved.

He watches intently as his mother performs onstage.

Moments later, a horrified young Buddy witnesses his mom's murder. He tries to stop crying as his mother¹s killer gets physical with him...2 lines, 3 scenes (2)


STORY LINE: Starry-eyed, teenage kitchen hand Camilla Swanson lands herself a role in the Broadway-bound showcase at the musical theatre camp where she works, but just as rehearsals begin, blood starts to spill. The production is being terrorized by Metal Killer, a masked slasher who screams death metal while hunting down every last one of his sworn enemies; pretentious musicaltheatre snobs. In the tradition of SCREAM as well as classic movie musicals,STAGE FRIGHT is a fun and frightening horror popcorn ride that skewers gleeful musical theatre people while they sing their hearts out - literally. STAGE FRIGHT is the brainchild of writer-director Jerome Sable and co-composer/co-lyricist Eli Batalion, the musical filmmaking team behind the Sundance award-winning horror short THE LEGEND OF BEAVER DAM.
