Massey – On August 25, 2012, members of the OPP Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau, Sudbury Drug Enforcement Unit and the Sarnia Police Service conducted a vehicle stop in the Town of Massey that led to the seizure of 131 pounds of marihuana.
Investigation revealed that two individuals were returning to Sarnia from British Columbia with a large quantity of marihuana. The vehicle was located in the Town of Massey and as a result two individuals were arrested and a search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of 131 pounds of marihuana along with $12,635 cash.
Ronald Fraser and William Gonyou were remanded into custody pending a bail hearing on August 27, 2012.
The street value of the drugs seized is $ 1,198,220.

1. Ronald FRASER, age 44 of Sarnia
Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purposes of Trafficking Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
2. William GONYOU, age 42 of Sarnia
Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purposes of Trafficking Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
