McNamara St man charged with trespass by night

At 5:20 am on the 18th Aug police observed a man go into the back yard of a Victoria St residence.

When approached the man refused to identify himself and when arrested, pulled away and ran.

He was stopped by a second officer who he shoved. He physically resisted arrest but was apprehended without further incident.

Eric Lariviere 24 yrs of McNamara St is charged with trespass by night, resist arrest, and escape lawful custody.

Csts Ken Ayres and Robin Boucher are investigating.
