Sudbury man charged with assault with a weapon

On 19th Aug at 11:20 pm a man that had been evicted from a downtown bar threaten the doorman with a length of chain that he took from a satchel he was carrying.

When located by the police 20 minutes later, the man gave a false name but when arrested, the chain was located in the satchel he was carrying.

Jorma Kariluoma 56 yrs of Sudbury has been charged with assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace, carry concealed weapon, obstruct police and breach of probation.

He has been held in custody for a bail hearing.
