Hwy 17 west of Warren is closed Update

Warren - On 16 August 2012 at approximately 8:20 AM a crash occurred between a car and a pick-up truck. Both drivers were transported to Health Sciences North-Sudbury by ambulance and treated for non life threatening injuries.

The highway was closed for approximately 3 hrs

The collision is still under investigation.

Noelville OPP advise motorists that as of 11:30am Hwy 17 about 2km west of Warren is open.

Noelville OPP advise motorists that as of 8:21am Hwy 17 about 2km west of Warren is closed due to a two vehicle collsion.

Traffic is closed in both directions but a detour is available to light traffic vehicles via Sutcliffe to Little Brule Road.

The estimated duration of the closure is 2 hours.
