60 year old male attacked on Worthington Street Update

The persons arrested on the 24th of Aug for the 13th Aug assault on the 60 yr old man are identified as, Lawrence Noah 26 yrs of King St and Clayton Wynne 25 yrs of College Dr.

Both men were charged with aggravated assault and held in custody for bail hearings.

On 24th Aug the North Bay Police arrested two men for the Aug 13th attack on the 60 yr old man on Worthington St.

Both men will be held in custody and charged with aggravated assault.

Further details will be released on Saturday morning when the court process is complete.

At approximately 2:30 a.m. on the 13th of Aug 2012 a 60 year old male was standing outside of his apartment building, on Worthington Street, when he was approached by two males.

An altercation occurred during which time the victim was knocked to the ground and was kicked to the head repeatedly.

Both suspects fled on foot toward Algonquin Ave. The victim suffered serious injury, including lacerations and a broken jaw, and was taken to hospital for treatment.
