Cab driver robbed at knifepoint

On August 9th, 2012 at approximately 3:30am, a cab driver was parked in the parking lot between Second Avenue and Third Avenue when a male approached the driver’s open side window and brandished a knife asking the driver for money.

The cab driver immediately handed over an undisclosed amount of money to the male who then fled on foot towards Fisher Street.

The suspect is described as 5’10”, 180 lbs, early to mid 20’s with a slim build.

He was said to be wearing a black long sleeve hoodie with white writing on the front, dark coloured pants and had a white cotton type mask over his face.

Investigation is continuing.
