The Big Brothers, Big Sisters of North Bay and District presented the first set of "Get" Cooking! participants with certificates, to honour their graduation from the program.

Pictured are Meghan Davis, Program Co-ordinator, and the local children who completed the program.

"Get" Cooking! is made possible through the generous support of the Government of Ontario, through the Ontario Trillium Foundation.

Over the next 2 years, sixty children will have the opportunity to learn to budget, shop, plan and cook healthy meals.

Community partners include the North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit and the North Bay Metis Centre.
