Montreal woman charged with assault Police

In the early morning hours of August 8th, the North Bay Police Service called to attend a local motel where two females were engaged in a physical altercation.

It is alleged that one of the females had been assaultive towards the other striking her several times and biting her and had caused approximately $300 damage to the room.

Both females were subsequently transported to the North Bay Regional Hospital in order to be treated for minor injuries sustained in the altercation.

Once at the hospital,the one female continued to be assaultive, spitting in one of the police officer’s face and biting him on the left arm as police were assisting hospital staff in restraining her.

Christianna Heresme-Pierre, 21 yrs, of Montreal is charged with Mischief, Assault and Assault Police.

She was held in custody for a bail hearing.
