Lakeshore Drive man charged with assault

On the 5th of August at approximately 8:00pm, the North Bay Police Service received a call in regards to an Assault complaint in the 400 block of Lakeshore Drive.

It is alleged that the owner of a business had attempted to remove a male from his property when he was suddenly punched in the face by the male causing him to receive minor injuries from the assault.

The male had fled from the scene prior to police arrival; however, the male involved was known to the victim.

On August 6th, the male was located and arrested.

Paul Chapeskie, 49 yrs, of Lakeshore Drive is charged with one count of Assault and awaiting a court date.
