Calvin, TWP – On Monday July 23, 2012 at 4:13pm officers from the Mattawa Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to a single vehicle roll over collision on Highway 630 in Calvin Township.

The lone male occupant flipped and rolled his pick-up truck partially blocking Highway 630 just north of Peddlers Drive. The driver was arrested at the scene of the collision and did not suffer any serious injuries and thankfully no innocent members of the public were involved or hurt. He consequently blew just under three (3) times the legal limit of alcohol permitted by law.

Raymond GUILLEMETTE, age 60 of Sudbury faces charges of;

Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle contrary to section 253(1)(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada

Exceed 80mgs Blood Alcohol Content contrary to section 253(1)(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada.

GUILLEMETTE was released once sober on a Promise to Appear with a first court appearance date of July 31, 2012 in North Bay.
