Overpass jumper in hospital with non-life threatening injuries

At 3:15am on the 17th July, alcohol and an argument led to a 20yr old woman jumping off the Main St overpass.

The vertical distance was approximately 4 meters. She landed on a steep slope then tumbled down to the railroad tracks.

She was taken to hospital by ambulance where it was learned that she did not sustain any serious injuries but she was held overnight for observation.

Foul play was not an issue.
